All Day Medical Care Clinic specializes in treating adults, children and adolescents who are experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties.
Our wide range of psychiatric services includes:
Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation
Each new patient will receive a full psychiatric assessment in order to best understand the nature of the presenting problem and to subsequently consider treatment options. Assessments generally include an empathic exploration of current concerns, past experiences, and family history. Towards the end of this session the treatment plan and recommendations will be discussed. This may or may not include medications and therapy.
People often decide to see a psychiatrist because they are experiencing psychological or interpersonal pain. Because of this pain, they are unable to feel a sense of well-being or feel connected to themselves or others. Psychotherapy aims to help people develop a deeper awareness of themselves in order to relieve symptoms, enhance well-being, and develop a healthier relationship with the self and others.
Psychopharmacology and Medication Monitoring
At times, psychiatric medication can play an important role in relieving pain and distress, and to assure emotional health and balance. Our psychiatric team has experience with all classes of psychiatric medications and is knowledgeable about up-to-date evidence-based practices.
Once medications are started, close follow up is required to ensure optimum care. These follow up sessions may or may not be combined with therapy.
Treatment of pediatric and adult psychiatric conditions
Treatment of pediatric and adult psychiatric conditions such as depression and bipolar disorders, anxiety disorders, panic, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, sleep disorders, stress and the psychological impact of other medical conditions
Coordination of care

Second opinions are often useful when an impasse is reached in your current treatment, and can provide a fresh assessment and objective view of the situation.
