My desire and passion to help others achieve wellness motivated me to become a psychotherapist. After 16 years of practicing as a mental health provider, that passion continues to motivate me. My theoretical foundation as a provider is CBT. However, I also utilize Psychodyn techniques Gestalt, and mindfulness amongst others. I work extensively on personal growth focusing on strengthening self-esteem/self-confidence self-awareness, and balanced ways of thinking. Additionally, I speak fluent Spanish as a native of Spain and have extensive experience working w/Spanish speaking clients/families. in my personal time, I spend time with family and friends, love music, and volunteer to plant trees for a local organization.
